The Covert Surveillance Headset by Advanced Wireless Communications enables plainclothes officers to remain covert while communicating using a two-way radio. Standard 3.5mm headphones, commonly used with cell phones and MP3 players, allow the operator to blend in seamlessly out in public. The Push-to-Talk button can be clipped anywhere to provide the officer with the ability to key the radio inconspicuously while the low-profile highly sensitive microphone catches every word without any indication to outsiders that a two-way radio is in use.
This headset works with the AWR Advantage, AWR Advantage Plus, and AWR-8000 two-way radios (as well as other radios that take the M1E connector).
